陈焕章,1963 年生人,1984 年毕业于浙江大学,军旅14 载,居杭州。

现为:中国社会艺术协会榜书委员会理事、中国东方文化研究会书法艺术研究员、文化与旅游部艺术人才中心高级书法家、国家一级美术师(书法)、中国教育电视台水墨丹青书画院常务理事、《水墨丹青》《名人讲堂》签约艺术家、《书法报》签约书法家、《中国书法评鉴》、《书法界》杂志特约编辑,特约撰稿人、中国•善琏汉字艺术研究院研究员、禹迹九州书画院院长。

幼时学书启蒙于外祖父,1980~1984 年大学期间,私淑古代书法圣贤碑帖,并曾得到北京大学著名法学家、草书大家李志敏先生的教导;1986 年始,书法师从著名书法家、书法理论家、书画鉴赏家李文采先生(系沙孟海、陆维钊、诸乐三、朱家济先生弟子);1993-1995 年,中国书法家协会培训中心高级书法班结业;进而先后参加文化与旅游部艺术人才中心、中国美术学院、中国书法家协会、北兰亭、荣宝斋、首届全国书法批评等高研进修,得到诸多名家高师授业与指教;学书由隋唐楷书入手,上追金文石鼓,秦汉简牍,钟张二王,下及宋元明清,临涉多家,碑帖兼爱,崇尚古拙朴厚雄浑大气之正能量书风。在不断锤炼与思辩过程中,博采众家之所长,师古而不泥,尝试形成厚重不失洒脱,老辡愈显儒雅的艺术风格。

作品在《书法报》、《美术报》等主流媒体发表;先后在北京文化与旅游部艺术发展中心、艺术人才中心、国家画院盘山创作基地,鸟巢、中艺星光书画联盟艺术平台、国家开放大学,广东佛山、江门,浙江杭州、宁波、台州、金华,江苏南京等多地成功举办书法个展与联展;多次获得省部级以上书法奖项;参加书画国际交流活动,作品为多国驻华大使馆收藏;境内外均有作品拍卖记录;作品、作品集亦为国家图书馆、中国美术学院图书馆、各大博物馆、艺术机构及收藏家所收藏。2022 年 9 月,狂草作品《明道源早梅诗》得到国家文物局原副局长、中国收藏家协会会长闫振堂先生的赏识并收藏。

陈焕章积极参加公益事业,作品多次参加权威慈善机构组织的义捐、义卖、义拍等公益活动,被慈善单位授予“爱心艺术家”、“德艺双馨”艺术家等荣誉称号。

多年来,从书技书理书评多方位立体形严格要求锻造、提升自身,对源远流长,博大精深的中国书法敬畏有加,无有丝毫怠慢之心。在数十载的书法心路倘佯中,深信且恪守“无意于佳乃佳之书法作品,必定源自于书家之厚积薄发”,“艺术创作没有最好,只有更好”的成理,至今临池未辍,勤耕不息……

Born in 1963, graduated from Zhejiang University in 1984, served in the military for 14 years, and resided in Hangzhou.

I am currently a member of the Calligraphy Committee of the China Social Arts Association, a calligraphy art researcher at the China Oriental Culture Research Association, a senior calligrapher at the Art Talent Center of the Ministry of Culture and Tourism, a national first-class artist (calligraphy), an executive director of the Ink Painting and Calligraphy Academy of China Education Television, a contracted artist for "Ink Painting and Calligraphy" and "Celebrity Lecture Hall", a contracted calligrapher for "Calligraphy Daily", a special editor and writer for "Chinese Calligraphy Evaluation" and "Calligraphy World" magazines, a researcher at the China Shanlian Chinese Character Art Research Institute, and the president of the Yuji Jiuzhou Calligraphy and Painting Academy.

I learned calligraphy from my maternal grandfather when I was young. From 1980 to 1984, during my university years, I became a private scholar of ancient calligraphy, and received guidance from Mr. Li Zhimin, a renowned legal scholar and cursive calligrapher at Peking University; Since 1986, Master Shu has been under the guidance of renowned calligrapher, calligraphy theorist, and connoisseur of calligraphy and painting, Mr. Li Wencai (a disciple of Mr. Sha Menghai, Mr. Lu Weizhao, Mr. Zhu Lesan, and Mr. Zhu Jiaji); From 1993 to 1995, graduatedfrom the Advanced Calligraphy Class at the Training Center of the Chinese Calligraphers Association; Subsequently, he participated in advanced studies such as the Art Talent Center of the Ministry of Culture and Tourism, the China Academy of Art, the Chinese Calligraphers Association, Beilanting, Rongbaozhai, and the first National Calligraphy Criticism, and received guidance and instruction from many renowned masters; Learning calligraphy started with Sui and Tang regular script, followed by Jin Wen Shi Gu, Qin and Han bamboo slips, Zhong and Zhang Wang, as well as Song, Yuan, Ming and Qing dynasties. He visited many schools and loved both inscriptions and calligraphy, advocating the positive energy of ancient simplicity, thick and majestic atmosphere in calligraphy. In the process of continuous refinement and debate, we draw on the strengths of various schools of thought, learn from the past without being muddy, and attempt to form a heavy yet free spirited artistic style that becomes more refined and elegant.

The works have been published in mainstream media such as Calligraphy Daily and Art Daily; Successfully held calligraphy solo and joint exhibitions in Beijing's Ministry of Culture and Tourism's Art Development Center, Art Talent Center, National Academy of Painting Panshan Creative Base, Bird's Nest,Zhongyi Starlight Calligraphy and Painting Alliance Art Platform, National Open University, Foshan and Jiangmen in Guangdong, Hangzhou, Ningbo, Taizhou, Jinhua in Zhejiang, Nanjing in Jiangsu, and other places; Has won calligraphy awards at or above the provincial and ministerial level multiple times;Participated in international exchange activities in calligraphy and painting, with works collected by multiple embassies in China; There are auction records of works both domestically and internationally; The works and collections are also collected by the National Library, the Library of the China Academy of Art, major museums, art institutions, and collectors. In September 2022, Yan Zhentang, the former deputy director of the National Cutural Heritage Administration and president of the China Association of Collectors, appreciated and collected the wild grass work "Ming Dao Yuan Early Plum Poetry".

Chen Huanzhang actively participates in public welfare undertakings, and his works have participated in various charity activities organized by authoritative charitable organizations such as donations, charity sales, and charity shoots. He has been awarded honorary titles such as "Loving Artist" and "Artist of Virtue and Art" by charitable organizations.

For many years, we have strictly demanded the forging andimprovement of ourselves from various aspects such as calligraphy skills, book theory, and book review. We have a deep respect for the profound and extensive Chinese calligraphy, and have no intention of neglecting it. In decades of wandering in the heart of calligraphy, I firmly believe and adhere to the principle that 'calligraphy works that are not meant for excellence must come from the accumulation and development of calligraphers', and that' there is no best in artistic creation, only better '.
