王南，字吉，号龙城，1948 年生，毕业于福建师范大学。多年来主要博釆王羲之、王献之、张旭、怀素诸位大家之精华，并得到当代书画名家赐教。进入 2000 年特别是近年来，巜王羲之.兰亭集序》、巜唐.李白.望庐山瀑布》、《贺神十一飞行成功》丶巜毛泽东.沁园春.雪》、《毛泽东.沁园春.长沙》《郑板桥.竹石》、《宋苏轼.赤壁怀古》、《宋岳飞.满江红》、《东汉曹操.观沧海》、《宋苏轼.明月几时有》等作品参加全国当代美术书法名家邀请展、献礼全国两会、纪念全民族抗战爆发 80 周年、庆祝建军 90 周年、庆祝改革开放 40 周年、建国 70 周年、建党百年、纪念中国人民抗日战争胜利 80 周年和世界反法西斯战争胜利 80 周年及北京冬奥会等书画大展赛活动，多次获特等奖、一等奖、金奖和中国长城文化奖等。

 

曾被中外文化交流中心，中国翰林院艺术家协会，中国书画家协会，中国中外名人文化研究会，中国新长城组委会，中国翰林书画院，北京黄宾虹书画院，中国名人录百科，中国邮品开发组委会等授予" 中国新长城杰出艺术家"，"一带一路中国文化大使书画家"，"中国当代书法艺术领军人物"，"中俄交流文化大使"，"中国当代书画百强"，"国礼书画家”等。作品被收入中国美术出版社，中国文联出版社、四川美术出版社等出版的巜人民喜爱的书画家》、《中国民族博览》和《世界美朮家大辞典》等典籍中。近年来还荣获优秀艺术家终身成就奖，最具潜力价值，最具人气和最具收藏价值艺术家奖项。2019 年《李白. 早发白帝城》，《陆游.游山西村》等二十幅作品献礼祖国七十华诞，被国家邮政部门作为限量版珍藏邮册公开出版发行，并荣获新时代中华书画榜样人物荣誉称号。此外，《送友人》古诗等作品被收入《时代名家精品台历》和中国邮政主题明信片中。2020 年毛泽东诗句和清.郑板桥.竹石等作品被收入《新中国美术图鉴》(1949/2020)中国当代美术家作品选粹. 书法篆刻卷中。2021 年 7 月在"艺术中国"等书画名家网上发表 10 幅作品庆祝中共建党 100 周年。其中 5 幅作品被收入《建党百年》大型美术文献图书中。同年入选 2021 百強书画艺术人才。并由国内权威媒体推荐为"情系冬奥一重点推荐艺术家"。2022 年 1 月经中美协、中书协、国家画院等全国艺术名家联合评审，被授予"全球华人书画百強名家"荣誉称号。2023 年 3 月，李白诗句等四幅作品在《艺术献两会 讴歌新时代》栏目等媒体上发布，庆贺全国两会胜利召开。同年 6 月，《清郑板桥.竹石》,《唐杜甫.春夜喜雨》等九幅作品在中国(深圳)文博会官网站上展播，被中共中央宣传部丶中国文化和旅游部丶中国商务部丶中国国际贸促会和国家广播电影电视总局联合举荐为"中国文博会推荐艺术家"。同年 11 月经专家组严格审核与筛选，《唐刘禹锡.陋室铭》《, 唐李白.送友人》,《唐韩愈.早春呈水部张十八员外》,《唐柳宗元.江雪》等二十幅作品入选《领航中国》并在"今日头条"," 华人头条","百度","翰墨中国"等近十家媒体上展播。同年 12月，《毛泽东.人民解放军占领南京》、《唐杜甫.登高》等十幅作品经北京美术师职称审定委员会审核，认定作品“创新发展，成就卓越”，被国家文化和旅游部特授于中华文化特别贡献奖。作品在《今日头条》,《网易新闻》,《艺术头条》,《头条文章》等多家媒体发布。2024 年 1 月，《毛泽东.沁园春长沙》、《唐李白.行路难》,《宋苏轼.念奴娇赤壁怀古》,《唐李白.将进酒诗句》等十六幅作品经北京相关媒体推荐在中国央视网展播，并成为中国中央电视台签约艺术家。同年 2 月，《毛泽东.卜算子咏梅》,《唐李白.送友人》, 《宋苏轼.题西林壁》,巜唐杜甫.春夜喜雨》等十五幅作品参加巜龙腾华夏 盛世中国》名家书画迎春展。著名书画评论家邵信平写了推荐词，对作品作了充分肯定和评价。 3月，《为人民是不变的精神追求》、《凝聚民心推进中国式的现代化》、《情系百姓 重视民生》、《民生大于天》等十六幅作品在德艺双馨艺术名家《向人民汇报 向两会献礼》上展播，祝贺全国两会胜利召开。并在"书画人才资料数据库",华夏翰墨文化网"等展播。5 月，在《匠心筑梦.匠心传承》上展播《劳动最光荣》、《唐李白.行路难》、《唐刘禹锡. 陋室铭》等十五幅作品，深受业届好评，荣获 2024 艺术卓越人物荣誉称号。6 月，和冯远、王明明、张海等中国艺术大家一道在北京参与《从北京到巴黎》书画展播活动，在线上发布了《唐杜甫.春夜喜雨》、《宋岳飞.滿江红》等十六幅作品，祝贺巴黎成功举办奥运会。在热烈庆祝新中国成立75 周年之际，被中国中央电视台作为重点推荐艺术家在线上展播了充满活力与创意的 10 幅作品，荣获中国当代艺术金奖。2025 年 2 月，《宋苏轼.赤壁怀古》、《唐王维.终南别业》等近二十幅作品入选北京《文脉传承 盛世典藏》限量版珍藏邮册，籍以庆祝中国人民抗日战争暨世界反法西斯战争胜利 80 周年。3 月，《宋苏轼.赤壁怀古》、《宋岳飞. 满江红》、《毛泽东.沁园春雪》、《清郑板桥.竹石》等十六幅作品同时在《朝日新闻》、《中华新闻》和《网易新闻》等官网站上展播，进一步扩大了作品在社会上的影响力，并荣获中华艺术精英人物称号。同年 6 月，《东汉曹操.观沧海》等十五幅作品在《中国文艺报》等媒体线上展播，荣获中国文学艺术界杰出贡献功勋艺术家荣誉称号。

 

中国书画鉴定泰斗单国強、潘深亮、呂长生在共同评鉴王南创作的《沁园春雪》草书作品时，一致认为:“此件以笔势的千变万化令人琢磨不定而显精彩。执笔在手，用笔在心。心有所指，凌空杀纸!在八面出锋的线条塑造中，把草书本为线条艺术的真谛表达得相当精彩。可以在一划之间变起伏于锋杪，亦能够在一点之间殊衄挫于毫芒。当是笔锋杀尽中山兔的上上品，录写沁园春，心手双畅，写得同自然之妙有，非力运所有成!”同时单国强等三位书画评鉴大师在评鉴王南创作的《竹石》作品时，也一致认为作品“写得天质自然，线条如若天成，可视为心手相师势转奇的代表作。用笔以瘦硬见精神，如凌冬古树，不置枝叶，铁画银钩，姿态类万物之象。用墨一气呵成，浑然一体，也是古瘦淋漓的好气象。由此一件，可证艺术家的笔墨功夫炉火纯青，可以把草书写得遂心应手。从头到尾而观，必有感叹:志在出神无定则，诡形怪状翻合宜!”《人民日报》美术专版著名评论员蔣瑞霖、中国著名书画评论家邵信平和温志哲及社会业届亦认为：“王南的作品堪称艺术瑰宝，创意无限，匠心独具，每一幅作品都承载着深厚的文化内涵，又充满了鲜明的时代气息"。其笔法"通过毫端纸面渗化到了作品中，笔下的线条棉里藏针，方圆兼用，变化多端，具有音乐般的美好节奏"，"他通过画笔将古老的东方文明与现代的审美观念相结合，使作品具有深厚的文化底蕴，又充滿了现代感"。“宛如一幅幅灵动的诗篇在笔墨的挥洒间尽显独特魅力”。评论家从作品的整体风格和笔法、墨色的运用，充分肯定作品“独具匠心”，“独特运用”，不仅是艺术的表现，更是对中华文化的传承和弘扬，在当今书坛非常难得"。同时指出“王南的探索之路正是中国文化守正创新，走向世界的生动缩影，彰显了新时代文化典范的荣耀与力量”。"欣赏王南的作品，是一种心灵的享受。每一次欣赏他的作品，都会有一种触动心弦的感觉"。"他的作品将会成为后世的宝贵财富，激励着一代又一代的人们去探寻中华文化的精髓和魅力"。

王南现为中国翰林书画院副院长，翰林院文化艺术中心书画艺术研究员，国家一级美术师，中国书画家协会顾问，北京黄宾虹书画院副院长，中国新闻杂志社终身艺术顾问，中国少数民族美术促进会会员和香港中国书法家协会会员等。并系中国中央电視台和北京人民艺术收藏网等书画艺术媒体中心签约艺术家。作品己被国内外相关机构和港澳台爱好人士收藏。

In July 2021, 10 works werepublished online by renowned calligraphers and painters suchas "Art China" to celebrate the 100th anniversary of thefounding of the Communist Party of China. Five of the workswere included in the large-scale art literature book "TheCentenary of the Founding of the Communist Party of China". Selected as one of the top 100 calligraphy and painting talentsin 2021 in the same year. And recommended by authoritativedomestic media as a key recommended artist for the WinterOlympics. In January 2022, it was awarded the honorary title of "Top 100 Global Chinese Calligraphers and Painters" throughjoint evaluation by national art masters such as the ChinaArtists Association, the China Calligraphy Association, and theNational Academy of Painting. In March 2023, four worksincluding Li Bai's poetry were released on media outlets such asthe "Art Dedication to the Two Sessions and Ode to the NewEra," celebrating the successful convening of the National TwoSessions. In June of the same year, nine works including "QingZheng Banqiao. Bamboo and Stone" and "Tang Dufu. SpringNight Rain" were exhibited on the official website of the China(Shenzhen) Cultural and Creative Expo. They were jointlyrecommended by the Propaganda Department of the CentralCommittee of the Communist Party of China, the Ministry ofCulture and Tourism of China, the Ministry of Commerce ofChina, the China Council for the Promotion of InternationalTrade, and the State Administration of Radio, Film andTelevision as "Recommended Artists for the China Cultural andCreative Expo". In November of the same year, after strictreview and screening by a panel of experts, 20 works including"Inscription on the Humble House of Tang Liu Yuxi," "Farewellto Friends of Tang Li Bai," "Early Spring Presented to ZhangShibaoyuan of the Water Department by Tang Han Yu," and"Jiang Xue of Tang Liu Zongyuan" were selected for "LeadingChina" and broadcasted on nearly ten media outlets such as "Today's Headlines," "Huatou Toutiao," "Baidu," and "HanmoChina. In December of the same year, ten works including "MaoZedong. People's Liberation Army Occupys Nanjing" and "TangDufu. Ascending High" were reviewed by the Beijing Artists TitleApproval Committee and recognized as "innovative andoutstanding achievements". They were awarded the SpecialContribution Award for Chinese Culture by the Ministry ofCulture and Tourism. Inscription on a Humble House" were exhibitedon "Craftsmanship Building Dreams and Inheritance ofCraftsmanship", receiving high praise from the industry andbeing honored with the title of 2024 Artistic Excellence. In June, together with Chinese art masters such as Feng Yuan, WangMingming, and Zhang Hai, they participated in the "FromBeijing to Paris" calligraphy and painting exhibition event inBeijing and released sixteen works online, including "Tang Du Fu. Spring Night Rain" and "Song Yue Fei. Man Jiang Hong", congratulating Paris on successfully hosting the Olympic Games. On the occasion of the enthusiastic celebration of the 75thanniversary of the founding of the People's Republic of China, 10 works full of vitality and creativity were exhibited online byartists recommended by China Central Television, and won theChina Contemporary Art Gold Award. In February 2025, nearly20 works such as "Song Su Shi. Red Cliff Nostalgia" and "TangWang Wei. Farewell to the South" were selected for the limitededition collection of "Cultural Heritage in the Prosperous EraCollection" in Beijing to celebrate the 80th anniversary of thevictory of the Chinese People's War of Resistance AgainstJapanese Aggression and the World Anti Fascist War. In March, sixteen works, including Song Sushi, Remembering the Past inChibi, Song Yuefei, Man Jianghong, Mao Zedong, QinyuanSpring Snow, and Zheng Banqiao, Bamboo and Stone in theQing Dynasty, were simultaneously shown on official websitessuch as Asahi News, China News, and Netease News, furtherexpanding the influence of the works in society and winning thetitle of Chinese art elite. In June of the same year, fifteen worksincluding "Cao Cao of the Eastern Han Dynasty. Observing theSea" were exhibited online in media outlets such as "ChinaLiterature and Art Daily", and were awarded the honorary titleof Outstanding Contribution and Meritorious Artist in theChinese literary and artistic circles.

The inheritance and promotion of culture are very rare intoday's calligraphy world. Wang Nan is currently the Vice President of the ChineseHanlin Academy of Painting and Calligraphy, a researcher incalligraphy and painting art at the Hanlin Academy Cultural andArt Center, a national first-class artist, an advisor to the ChineseCalligraphers and Painters Association, the Vice President of theBeijing Huang Binhong Academy of Painting and Calligraphy, alifelong art advisor to the China News Magazine, a member ofthe China Ethnic Minority Art Promotion Association, and amember of the Hong Kong Chinese Calligraphers Association. He is also a contracted artist for calligraphy and painting artmedia centers such as China Central Television and BeijingPeople's Art Collection Network. The work has been collectedby relevant domestic and foreign institutions as well asenthusiasts from Hong Kong, Macao, and Taiwan.
