吴万福，笔名静涛，男，汉族，祖籍山西洪洞县。1948年 2 月 2 日(农历)出生在新疆迪化，成长在甘肃武威凉州，大学文化，中共党员，高级政工师，北京师范大学继续教育学院毕业。《中国矿业报》原特约记者，《甘肃工人报》原特聘记者。中华人民共和国文化高级职称，国家高级美术师，国家高级书法师。国家一级美术师;一级书法师，中书协会员、中美协会员、中国书法家协会终身理事,书画英才栏目艺术顾问. 国务外交礼品师。国艺委书画艺术博物馆馆长。亚洲英才人物。获得美国科罗拉多大学工程与应用科学学院荣誉博士学位。2008 年在金川公司二矿区党委工作部退休。2026 年四月先后被中国艺术界联合会聘为理事。被中国文物局聘为党组成员副局长。被中国艺术研究院聘为国画院士。被故宫博物院聘为艺术研究员。被中央美术学院聘为国画院副院长。被中华人民共和国文化和旅游部聘为艺术司艺委会主任。中央文史研究馆书画院副院长。系全国书画艺术委员会委员，全国书画艺术委员会副主席。中国中华国礼艺术家。2021 年 11 月被国宝级艺术大师评审委员会、国礼文化官方网特聘为顾问和国宝艺术大师。吴万福入选 2023、2024、2025 年福布斯中国(艺术福布斯)十大名人。获得国际润格官方认证资质证书(通过中、英、法、德、意等国文艺部门评审)。获得中国书画产业研究基地专家组成员聘书。

Wu Wanfu, pen name Jingtao, male, Han nationality, ancestral home in Hongtong County, Shanxi Province. Born on the 2nd day of the 2nd lunar month in 1948 in Dihua, Xinjiang, he grew up in Liangzhou, Wuwei, Gansu Province. He has a university education, is a member of the Communist Party of China, a senior political work engineer, and graduated from the School of Continuing Education, Beijing Normal University. He was once a special correspondent for China Mining News and a specially appointed correspondent for Gansu Workers' News. Holder of a senior cultural professional title of the People's Republic of China, National Senior Fine Artist, National Senior Calligrapher, National First-Class Fine Artist and First-Class Calligrapher. Member of the Chinese Calligraphers Association, member of the China Artists Association, lifetime director of the Chinese Calligraphers Association, art consultant for the Painting and Calligraphy Talents column, and State Diplomatic Gift Artist. Curator of the Painting and Calligraphy Art Museum of the National Art Committee. An Outstanding Asian Talent. He was awarded an honorary doctorate by the College of Engineering and Applied Science, University of Colorado, USA. He retired from the Party Work Department of No.2 Mining Area of Jinchuan Company in 2008. In April 2026, he was successively appointed as a director by the China Federation of Literary and Art Circles, member of the Party Leadership Group and Deputy Director by the State Administration of Cultural Heritage, academician of traditional Chinese painting by the Chinese Academy of Art, art researcher by the Palace Museum, Vice President of the Chinese Painting Academy by the Central Academy of Fine Arts, and Director of the Art Committee of the Art Department by the Ministry of Culture and Tourism of the People's Republic of China. Vice President of the Painting and Calligraphy Academy of the Central Research Institute of Culture and History. He is a member and vice chairman of the National Painting and Calligraphy Art Committee, and a Chinese National Ritual Artist. In November 2021, he was specially appointed as a consultant and National Treasure Art Master by the National Treasure Art Master Evaluation Committee and the National Ritual Culture Official Website. Wu Wanfu was selected as one of the Top Ten Celebrities of Forbes China (Art Forbes) in 2023, 2024 and 2025. He obtained the official certification certificate of international art pricing (reviewed by literary and art departments of China, Britain, France, Germany, Italy and other countries). He holds the appointment certificate as a member of the expert group of the China Painting and Calligraphy Industry Research Base.

Member of the China Society for Management Science, researcher of Huaxia Painting and Calligraphy Research Center, visiting professor at the Central Academy of Fine Arts and visiting professor at the Confucius Art Museum. He started to engage in painting, calligraphy, literature, poetry and other literary and artistic pursuits at the age of five, and achieved gratifying results through diligent efforts. His various works have been published in newspapers and magazines. He published 4,000 news articles in nearly 30 newspapers and periodicals nationwide. Fourteen political research papers won awards at national academic conferences and were selected and published in seven works including The Life of the Party — Strengthening the Party's Governing Capacity. He has won more than one thousand various awards. His biography and works have been included in nearly 100 classics. He has been awarded more than 30 honorary titles such as "People's Artist" and "People's Painter and Calligrapher". Recipient of the United Nations Peace Medal and the Republic "Literature and Art Double Hundred Award". During the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China, People's Daily published a special report entitled Sunset Glow Brightens the Beautiful Chapter of Life — Role Model of the Times Wu Wanfu, and an honorary certificate was issued by the Central Publicity Department. On June 6, 2023, Guangming Daily carried an eight-page special report titled Leading Figure in the Art Circle of Guangming Daily — Wu Wanfu. In 2023, he was a key recommended artist for the Boao Forum for Asia in the event Hand in Hand to Create the Future, with dedicated coverage of his achievements. In 2024, his works were exhibited in Japan, France, Britain, Hungary, Singapore and other countries, and certificates were issued. His work Hundred Blessings of Peaceful Longevity has been permanently collected by a Japanese art museum. His works and biography were displayed on the big screen in Times Square, USA, at the 10th Anniversary Exhibition of the Belt and Road Initiative, and at the opening ceremony of the 2023 Olympic Congress in Greece.

The internationally renowned artist Wu Wanfu was named a Climate Ambassador by the United Nations in 2023. He has also been selected by many official organizations at home and abroad as various image ambassadors and awarded honorary titles such as International Elegant Ritual Artist. He was a key reported artist during the National Two Sessions in 2024. He was awarded the titles of "People's Artist" and "National Ritual Artist". He won the inaugural Times Art Golden Pen Award of the International Federation of Literature and Art in 2024. His works have been collected by a Thai prince. He was invited by the Olympic Committee to display his works in a series of Olympic events. He was specially awarded the honorary title of "Glorious China — World Master of Culture and Art" by the Central New International Culture Committee and the Organizing Committee of the Glorious China World Culture and Art Masters. He was conferred the title of "Master for Global Promotion of Chinese Culture". He received the Nobel Prize equivalent in art, the China-France Picasso Merit Award, and served as Cultural Exchange Ambassador between China and Nigeria. His calligraphy work Friendship Endures Forever was collected by the President of Nigeria. He has won numerous major awards both internationally and domestically. His traditional Chinese painting Three Yangs Bring Bliss exhibited at the 33rd Olympic Games won a gold medal. His calligraphy work Bright Prospects was endorsed by Liu Yukun, champion and head coach of shot put, discus and shooting, who issued a collection certificate. In 2024, he participated in the Belt and Road Silk Road International Cultural Exchange Event held in Datong, Shanxi, and achieved fruitful results. In the celebrations marking the 75th anniversary of the founding of the People's Republic of China in 2024, he won the Lifetime Achievement Award in Culture and the gold head portrait commemorative medal for Backbone of a Great Nation — 75 Outstanding Contributors to New China. He also received many major awards at home and abroad. His works have won gold medals four times in international competitions at the Louvre Museum in France. He claimed the gold medal in the final of the 2024 International Picasso Art Competition. He was covered prominently and awarded an honorary certificate during the 2025 National Two Sessions. He was elected as a United Nations Image Ambassador and won many awards at home and abroad. He took an active part in a series of events commemorating the 80th anniversary of the victory of the World Anti-Fascist War and the 80th anniversary of the victory of the Chinese People's War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression, contributing his due strength. He was included in the production of the Glory Head Portrait Medal by the organizing committee of Iron Shoulders of the Nation — 80 Practitioners of the National Mission in China for the commemoration of the 80th anniversary of the victory of the Chinese People's War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression, and a special promotional album of his works was compiled for promotion. In 2006, he obtained many international and national awards. He wrote review articles for more than 60 painters and calligraphers from inside and outside the province, which were published in various newspapers and periodicals. He is determined to keep fighting as long as he lives, make positive contributions to promoting and developing traditional national culture, and remain a qualified member of the Communist Party of China.
